During this intimate and honest `audience with` evening, hosted by Echo Factory, which included industry networking sessions, Sam Bailey revealed the trials, challenges, highs and lows of winning X Factor and surviving the cut throat music industry in a way that only determined entrepreneurs can!

Many people will not realise that Sam has actually parted company with Simon Cowell and is independently releasing her music and making a successful career off her own back.

Not many people can successfully launch a music career at the age of 39, let alone with a family and children at home, but Sam has defied all odds and applied true survival instinct.

We invited creatives and musicians to learn the truth behind the spin of Sam’s career, taking away some vital tips and inspiration which could then be applied to their own career path.

The evening kicked off with an exclusive performance of one of Sam’s soon-to-be-released singles with the opportunity for event attendees to meet Sam in person, at the end of the evening.

Echo Factory is an innovative music school based in the heart of Leicester’s Cultural Quarter. Echo Factory offers the highest level of professional music training and provides two unique industry facing music degree courses.

This event provided inspiration for young and aspiring creatives as well as providing insider information for professionals and those working in the creative arts industries.

The event appealed to those who were keen to find out more about Sam’s career, the music industry, the range of roles in the creative and cultural industries and attracted artists, musicians, industry professionals, producers and aspiring and emerging young artists.

The seminar took place at Echo Factory in our live venue and there was plenty of opportunity for networking in our café/bar.

Event attendees took away some great insider information, advice on establishing and progressing a creative career and met some of the industry’s top professionals.
